Shares & Staking
Two simple ways to grow money on GAPINVEX: buy registered shares in businesses, or lock your money for a fixed period to earn interest. This guide explains both in plain words.
Frequently Asked Questions
Shares mean you own a piece of a business. Staking means you lend your money to the platform for a set time and earn interest on it. Shares can grow and be traded; staking is simple, fixed interest.
Go to the investor page, choose "Lock Funds", enter the amount and the number of days you want to lock it for, and confirm. Interest is paid on your lock when the period ends. Longer lock periods earn higher interest.
Locks earn interest starting at a base annual rate of around 12%, and longer lock periods earn higher rates. The exact rate for your lock is shown on screen before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
No. While your money is locked it cannot be withdrawn early — that is exactly how the platform can pay you interest. Choose a lock period you are comfortable with, because it stays locked until the period ends.
A staked lot is a registered bundle of shares in a business. Businesses register their shareholding interests with the platform, and those lots are listed here so anyone can buy a piece of the business and trade it.
Browse the staked lots on the investor page. Each lot shows the price per share. Choose the number of shares you want to buy, confirm the total, and the payment goes into a protected holding account until the sale is verified.
Use the "List Your Stake" form. You provide the business details, number of shares, and price per share, and the platform registers your lot through a formal first-registration (IPO-style) process. Once registered, your lot becomes tradeable.
Yes. Because every lot is registered through a formal procedure, the shares are always tradeable — you can buy and sell them on the marketplace rather than being stuck holding them forever.
On the investor page: the "My Locks" tab shows every money lock with its period, rate and status, and the portfolio view shows your shares and investments. When a lock matures you unlock and claim it there.
Not quite. Staking is a fixed, simple interest lock with a set rate and period. Crowd investing funds a specific trade deal and you earn a return when that deal completes. Both are described in their own guides. See Crowd Invest.
