Location & Neighbourhoods
Location is how GAPINVEX connects real people with real work and products near them. Gigs, deliveries and sellers are all organised by neighbourhood, so you always deal with people around you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Because most work and most products are local. Deliveries, repairs and services need to happen near you. Your location means you only see gigs and sellers you can actually reach, not ones on the other side of the country.
It uses your device location when you allow it, and you can also set your neighbourhood yourself. You are always shown what location is being used, and you can change it any time.
A neighbourhood is your local area — the part of your city or town where you live and work. GAPINVEX organises gigs, sellers and deliveries by neighbourhood so local people find local opportunities.
Use the search box on the Locations page. Type a neighbourhood or place name and the platform looks it up from real map data (OpenStreetMap), then shows you matching locations to choose from.
You see your own neighbourhood first, but you can also look at nearby areas. The AI shows you the best mix — what is close enough to be practical and what is worth travelling for.
Indirectly. Prices are based on real local market data, so what things cost differs from place to place. And demand differs too — some areas simply have more work and more buyers. Your earnings follow the real market around you.
No. Other users see your neighbourhood, not your exact address. Exact address details are only shared with the other side of a deal when needed for a delivery, and are protected by the platform's privacy rules.
Yes. Update your location when you arrive and the platform will start showing you the gigs, sellers and opportunities of the area you are in. Your account and wallet stay the same.
Geography tells the AI what is available where. It knows the supply and demand of each area, so it can price goods fairly, match nearby workers to jobs, and plan which trades make sense between places. See The AI Engine.
Place names and locations come from OpenStreetMap, a free map built by people all over the world. That is why even small neighbourhoods and local marketplaces can be found and used.
