Wallet & Security
Your wallet is where your money lives on GAPINVEX, and it works in your local currency. This guide covers how to add money, withdraw it, and keep your account safe.
Frequently Asked Questions
Your wallet is your money box on GAPINVEX. Money you add, money you earn, and payments you receive all land there. It is shown in your local currency, so you always know what you have.
Go to your Account page and choose "Add wallet". Follow the instructions for your country — for example paying by mobile money, bank transfer or card. When the payment is confirmed, the money appears in your wallet.
On the Account page, choose "Withdraw funds". Select where the money should go — your mobile money, phone number or bank account — enter the amount and confirm. Withdrawals are processed through secure payment rails.
Yes. Your balance is recorded in the platform's tamper-evident ledger and cannot be changed by anyone, including the platform, without a traceable record. Deal money is held in escrow so it is only released on confirmed completion.
KYC means confirming who you are, usually with an ID document. It is required before using financial features so that money can be handled safely and legally, and so fraudsters cannot hide behind fake accounts.
Use a strong password, turn on two-factor authentication (it sends a code to your phone when you sign in), and never share your password or codes with anyone. GAPINVEX staff will never ask for your password or codes.
By default every amount is shown as your local money, like UGX, KES or NGN. There is an optional advanced view that shows the same money as a crypto asset instead. You can switch back at any time — the money never changes, only the label.
Immediately change your password and turn on or reset two-factor authentication, then contact support through the Help Center. The ledger records every transaction, so the team can investigate and trace any suspicious activity.
Yes. You can add several mobile money and bank accounts, and choose which one to use for adding, paying and withdrawing money. You manage them all from your Account page.
CCF is the internal unit of money the platform uses behind the scenes to keep everything consistent, and it is shown to you as your local money. CMT is a unit used for computer (compute) work. You never need to think about either — you see fiat by default. See Trading & Swaps.
